1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: York
Salary: £85 - £90 a day
Start Date: WC 4th November 2024 – Ongoing

Are you a passionate and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Yorkshire Education is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long term contract in York.

It is to work 2 days per week (Days negotiable) with a child in Reception who has Cerebral Palsy.

Moving and handling training is desirable, but not essential.

 What skills and experience we are looking for:

• Experience working with Reception aged children

• Experience working with children who have SEN needs

• The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young people

• Commitment to fulfil wider professional responsibilities

• Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and outside agencies.

• Aspire to be an ‘Outstanding’ Teaching Assistant in all aspects of the role
