Location: Boston Spa / Wetherby
Salary: £9 - £12.50 p/h (Dependent on age and experience)
Start Date: ASAP – Full time / Part time (20-40 hours per week) – Permanent contract
Are you a passionate and committed Early Years Practitioner or Early Year Teacher looking for a new challenge? Yorkshire Education is looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Educator for a permanent contract at a Nursery with sites in both Boston Spa and Wetherby.
What skills and experience we are looking for:
• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
• Being committed, passionate and having a positive outlook towards professional development is essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, parents and carers
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Key Responsibilities:
• To plan and implement activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• To observe, assess and record children's progress, and use this information to plan future activities and inform parents/carers of their child's progress
• To provide a warm and welcoming environment for children and their families, and build positive relationships with parents/carers
• To work in partnership with colleagues, sharing ideas and best practice to ensure the highest standards of care and education are provided
• To ensure that all children are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted at all times
• To adhere to all policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding and data protection
