Start your Christmas with Yorkshire Education at The National Railway Museum
Join us for our fun packed Christmas bauble competition at the National Railway Museum and win a whole school performance of the pantomime Aladdin.
We’re running a ‘design a bauble competition’ especially for primary schools with all entries being displayed on a beautiful 15ft Christmas tree in the Great Hall of the National Railway Museum.
As well as the exciting opportunity of your decorations being on the tree for all to see, the NRM are providing free workshops for all our schools who enter! Amazing! This will be a great chance for pupils to see their baubles on the tree as well as taking part in the fun educational workshops. Take a look at their website- www.nrm.org.uk/education/nrmyork
The details:
The winning school will get an outstanding whole school pantomime of Aladdin.
Chaplins Entertainment will be performing at your school on Thursday 14th December starting at 1:30pm – so make sure you save the date!
Your school will need to confirm if you’ll be entering the competition by Friday 13th October, then we will deliver 10 wooden bauble templates to your school and five of these will include National Railway Museum designs.
All the designs will need to be completed by Friday 10th November ready for us to collect on the week commencing 13th November.
All the baubles will be on the tree on the 1st December and will be displayed for the whole month.
This is a fantastic opportunity for your school to enjoy the National Railways Museum workshops and have the chance of winning an amazing pantomime experience worth £1000 so please make sure your school doesn’t miss out!
