Sponsorship for South Milford Primary School

Here at Yorkshire Education we love to help our schools wherever possible!

As part of our school partnership agreement, all our partner schools receive £300 a year of funding which they can choose to spend in whichever way they desire.

We are delighted to have sponsored South Milford Primary school with the programmes for their school production of Seussical. Seussical the Musical is a fantastical, magical extravaganza which inspired the children to bring to life all of their favourite Dr. Seuss characters – including Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and Gertrude McFuzz.

We were kindly invited to watch the performance on Thursday last week which had almost 200 children, ranging in age from 4 to 11. They took to the stage at Sherburn High School to perform in front of packed audiences totaling more than 800 community and family members.

South Milford Primary School put on a fantastic production with brilliant acting, singing and dancing. It was a larger than life musical extravaganza and it was great to see the time and effort the staff and pupils had put into the production.

Melanie Lawrence the Headteacher at South Milford Primary school said; “Yorkshire Education provide us with a brilliant service. They listen to our needs and provide quality staff who are professional. We are delighted that they were happy to support our whole school production by sponsoring our programme. They have also previously supported us by making donations of much needed equipment for our classrooms. We love working with YE.”
