Today is the final day to enter our Christmas competition!
Thank you to those schools who have already entered our Christmas bauble competition which we are running in partnership with the York Theatre Royal.
We have had a fantastic response to the competition with lots of schools across Yorkshire getting involved. We will be delivering the baubles week commencing the 14th October ready for schools to start decorating.
The winning school:
As well as the exciting opportunity to have your decorations on the tree for visitors to admire during the festive period, the winning school will get the opportunity to visit the York Theatre Royal where you will get a free workshop and tour of the theatre.
York Theatre Royal will be offering up to 4 pantomime tickets for the winning child’s family. These tickets would need to be used between Monday 9th—Friday 13th December.
You will also get a pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk from Chaplins Entertainment. They will be performing at the winning school on Thursday 12th December—so make sure you save the date!

This competition is free for your school to enter!
Your school will need to confirm if you will be entering the competition by Friday 11th October. Once you have confirmed you are entering, we will deliver 10 wooden bauble templates to your school.
All designs to be completed by Friday 15th November ready for us to collect on the week commencing 18th November.
All baubles will be on the tree from the 1st December and will be displayed for the whole month.
The Prize:
No story captures the imagination of children more than the enchanting tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. For two hours including interval (Show running time can be reduced to fit your requirements) the audience will be transported to the magical setting of Pantoland where they will meet Jack and all his friends.
Packed solid with comedy, excitement and adventure, the children will love to cheer their hero Jack and boo the evil Mayor Botchett. They will roar with laughter at the antics of Barmy Bosworth and Dimples the cow as they try to get the better of the comic dame, Mrs Lumpkin.
Jack and the beanstalk has been especially written to entertain children between the ages of 3 and 12 years. Chaplins Entertainment will perform at your school on Thursday 12th December starting at 1:30pm.
