Yorkshire Education’s Christmas Competition

Thank you to all primary schools for all your bauble entries they all look great and we can’t wait to put them on the tree in the York Theatre Royal.

The top 11 (it was too difficult to pick a top 10!)

And here are the finalists….

3rd Place - Long Marston CE Primary School

2nd Place - Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy

1st Place - Hemingbrough Community Primary School

Congratulations to Hemingbrough Community Primary School for designing the winning bauble! The school have won a whole school pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk. They have also won a trip to the York Theatre Royal for a free workshop and tour of the Theatre. Hemingbrough Community primary school will also be meeting the cast of their pantomime Sleeping Beauty. Heidi who is in Y6 at Hemingbrough designed the winning bauble which means she will get 4 free pantomime tickets for her and her family.

Long Marston and Robert Wilkinson will also be getting book vouchers for coming 2nd and 3rd in our Christmas competition.

All the baubles will be displayed on a beautiful 7ft Christmas tree inside the York Theatre Royal. Photos coming soon!
