Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: York

Salary: £100 - £115 per day

Job Type: Long term, Full time

Start Date: September 2025

Additional information: It is to work across the whole school age range, so you would need to happy working with Reception to Y6 pupils. This position is to start from September 2025, for the full academic year. It’s for 4 days per week and the working days can be flexible.

We are seeking a passionate HLTA to work in a primary school in in a small village primary school on the outskirts of York. We are open to both early career teachers and experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.

• Support students' academic and personal development through individualised instruction and guidance.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a HLTA

• Excellent  communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability  to inspire and motivate students
