About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join Yorkshire Education to work across secondary schools in York. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering high-quality language education across multiple settings, fostering a love for languages and cultural understanding among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach French, Spanish, or German (depending on expertise) to students aged 11–16 (KS3–KS4)
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
Travel between schools within the York area
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Proven experience teaching at least one modern foreign language.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments
