We’re asking schools across South Tyneside to nominate pupils whose dedication, hard work and achievements deserve to be recognised. Alongside celebrating the success of unsung heroes from across schools and colleges in the South Tyneside community, each school will also nominate their own entertainment act to perform alongside the awards.

All participating schools and colleges will select a winner to go through to the Unsung Hero celebration evening at The Customs House in South Shields at 6.30pm on Thursday 6th July.

If you are aware of a student who you believe deserves an Unsung Hero Award, please don't hesitate to share their story with us. You can nominate them by filling out our online form or by obtaining a nomination form from the reception of a participating school or college. Remember, the deadline for nominations is Friday, May 3rd, 2024.
