The Company is a recruitment business that provides work-finding services to its clients and work-seekers. To deliver these services, the Company must process personal data (including sensitive personal data) and acts as a data controller in this context. You may provide your personal details directly to the Company through an application, registration form, or our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board. The Company must have a legal basis for processing your personal data. For the purpose of providing you with work-finding services and/or information relevant to roles that interest you, we will only use your personal data in accordance with this privacy statement. At all times, we will comply with current data protection laws.

The Company will collect your personal data (which may include sensitive personal data) and will process it to provide you with work-finding services. This includes contacting you about job opportunities, assessing your suitability for those opportunities, updating our databases, putting you forward for job opportunities, arranging payments, and managing our services and relationships with you and our clients.
If you have opted-in, we may also send you marketing information and news via email or text. You can opt-out at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” when you receive these communications.
In some cases, we may be required to use your data to investigate, report, and detect crime or to comply with laws that apply to us. We may also use your information during internal audits to demonstrate compliance with industry standards.
The legal bases we rely upon to offer our work-finding services to you are:

b. Legitimate Interest
The Company has a legitimate reason to process your data provided it is reasonable and does not go against what you would reasonably expect. Our legitimate interests include:
• Managing our database and keeping work-seeker records up to date
• Providing work-finding services to you and our clients
• Contacting you to seek your consent where needed
• Providing information about similar products or services you have recently used
c. Statutory/Contractual Requirement
The Company has certain legal and contractual requirements to collect personal data (e.g., compliance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, immigration and tax legislation). Our clients may also require this data, or we may need it to enter into a contract with you. Without this data, we may not be able to continue providing work-finding services to you.

The Company will share your personal data with the following recipients:
• Clients (whom we may introduce or supply you to)
• Former employers (for references)
• Payroll service providers or other payment intermediaries
2. Information to Be Provided When Data Is Not Collected Directly from the Data Subject

The Company has collected the following personal data on you:
Personal data: Name, address, mobile number, email, National Insurance number, nationality, references, client feedback, consultant notes
Sensitive personal data: Health information, criminal conviction & record checks
b. Sources of Data
The Company sourced your personal data/sensitive personal data from:
• Jobs boards, LinkedIn
• A former employer
• A referee whose details you provided
• Software providers supporting our services
• Careers fairs
This information did not come from a publicly accessible source.
3. Overseas Transfers
The Company may transfer your information to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to provide work-finding services. We will ensure adequate protections are in place to secure your information. The EEA includes EU member states plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
4. Data Retention
The Company will retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Different laws require us to keep data for different periods. For example, work-seeker records must be kept for at least one year, and payroll records for 3 to 6 years. If we have obtained your consent to process your data, we will do so in line with our retention policy. Upon expiry, we will seek further consent or cease processing your data.
5. Your Rights
You have the following data protection rights:
• The right to be informed about the personal data the Company processes on you
• The right of access to the personal data the Company processes on you
• The right to rectification of your personal data
• The right to erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances
• The right to restrict processing of your personal data
• The right to data portability in certain circumstances
• The right to object to processing based on a public or legitimate interest
• The right not to be subjected to automated decision making and profiling
• The right to withdraw consent at any time

6. Cookies
We may obtain data about you from cookies, small text files placed on your computer by websites you visit. Most web browsers allow control over cookies through settings. For more information, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. Note that some website features may not function if you remove cookies.
7. Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements, and gather demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
8. Links to External Websites
The Company’s website may contain links to external sites. The Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of every website that collects personally identifiable information.
9. Sale of Business
If the Company’s business is sold or integrated with another business, your details may be disclosed to our advisers and prospective purchasers and passed on to the new owners.
10. Data Security
The Company takes every precaution to protect users’ information. Only employees needing the information to perform specific jobs (e.g., consultants, accounts clerk, marketing assistant) are granted access. However, the use of email/the Internet is not entirely secure, and the Company cannot guarantee the security of personal information transferred via these means. We recommend not selecting the “remember my details” function if you share a device.

We will update this privacy statement from time to time. Any changes will be posted with revision dates. If material changes are made, we will notify you.
