Teacher of Food Technology & Health and Social Care Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology and Health & Social Care across a range of abilities in line with the curriculum.
Maintain organised and well-prepared learning resources.
Support the progress of all students by taking an active role in departmental collaboration.
Provide clear lesson structures that promote motivation, challenge, and positive behaviour.
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
Use creative and practical teaching methods to inspire students in both subjects.
Teacher of Food Technology & Health and Social Care Requirements:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
Ability to work well within a team and share best practice across the school.
Have a committed and passionate approach to supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEND.
Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with Yorkshire Education Recruitment.
