Food Technology/Health & Social Care Responsibilities Teacher

Teacher of Food Technology & Health and Social Care Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology and Health & Social Care across a range of abilities in line with the curriculum.

• Maintain organised and well-prepared learning resources.

• Support the progress of all students by taking an active role in departmental collaboration.

• Provide clear lesson structures that promote motivation, challenge, and positive behaviour.

• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.

• Use creative and practical teaching methods to inspire students in both subjects.

Teacher of Food Technology & Health and Social Care Requirements:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.

• Ability to work well within a team and share best practice across the school.

  • Have a committed and passionate approach to supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEND.

• Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour.

• Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with Yorkshire Education Recruitment.
