We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team at a junior school located in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of their pupils.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The position is to start on 25thFebruary until 27th March. The hours would be Wednesday – Friday 8:15am – 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons for KS2
• Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment that fosters curiosity and active participation.
• Support pupil's academic and personal development through differentiated instruction and pastoral care.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching across the key stages
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for primary education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and nurture young learners.
