Working Pattern: 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher specialising in Biology to work at a secondary school in the North Yorkshire area. We welcome applications from both early career teachers and experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, including A Level.

•             Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports students’ confidence and progress.

•             Tailor teaching and learning to support individual students’ academic and personal development.

•             Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to high-quality Biology lessons

Requirements:

•             Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

•             Experience teaching Biology at the secondary level

•             Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sciences

•             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•             Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
