Supply teaching during the run up to Christmas
If you are a teacher then you will probably already know, but it is 4 weeks to go until the Christmas holidays.
The run up to Christmas is a busy time for us and our supply teachers.
We have put together a list of top tips to deal with this busy time:
Always reply to our availability email so we know what days you can work for the following week.
If you agree to work a day/ couple of days, and then things change, please give us as much notice as possible so we can get someone to cover for you.
The weather is only going to get colder and colder so if you need to de-ice your windscreen on your car make sure you give yourself plenty of time to do it as there is nothing worse than turning up late to a school.
Make sure you bring a coat/ warm clothes as you might be expected to do break duty.
When going into a school close to Christmas stay prepared and have good lesson planned even if you end up watching a film.
