We are delighted to announced that we have retained our place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework for Supply Teachers and Temporary Staffing (STaTS). This supports schools & education settings around Yorkshire and beyond.
The framework supports the Education sector to achieve maximum value when procuring supply staffing solutions. The framework provides schools with a fair and transparent route when hiring supply teachers and other support staff. Schools have the option to hire candidates after 12 weeks with a 4 week notice period, without incurring additional fee’s reducing the need to place costly adverts to find permanent employees and reducing the time it takes to employ the right person.
Each CCS supplier’s background screening of workers and safeguarding must comply with Department for Education (DfE) Keeping children safe standards. Yorkshire Education work closely with the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and are REC Audited in Education, this is a ‘kite mark’ for recruitment in education. Building on the legacy of the Quality Mark, which the REC managed for the DfE for over a decade.
