Last night's Behaviour for Learning CPD with Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance

Thank you to all the teachers who attended our Secondary CPD session last night and a huge thanks to Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance for putting on this session.

The CPD evening which was held at Archbishop Holgates School was hugely engaging and received extremely positive feedback from all that attended.

The session which was on Behaviour for Learning covered the following things:

Why young people misbehave
Laying the foundations for good behaviour
How to make expectations, consistency and sanctions clear
How to work effectively with support staff

We are very grateful to be working with Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for our supply teachers to receive CPD that otherwise would not be available to them. We believe our teachers deserve the training that teachers employed permanently would benefit from.

We are already looking forward to the next CPD session which is for Primary teachers. The session will be on Maths Mastery and Differentiation and Challenge which was a popular choice for our supply staff.
