Last night’s CPD 'Non- fiction’

Thank you to all the teachers who attended the CPD last night and a huge thanks to Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance for putting on this session.

The twilight session at Archbishop Holgates School was ‘Non-fiction and was delivered by Alison Bailey the Primary CPD Consultant Trainer. The session included key features on non-fiction and the main differences between fiction and non-fiction. Our supply staff were shown example lesson plans of how to compare fiction and non-fiction in the classroom as well as looking at great examples of non-fiction.

We are very grateful to be working with Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for our supply teachers to receive CPD that otherwise would not be available to them. We believe our teachers deserve the training that teachers employed permanently would benefit from.

We are already looking forward to the next CPD sessions in May which will be on Anxiety and Behaviour for Learning. If you haven’t booked onto these or you’re wanting more information regarding the CPD we offer, make sure you get in touch with us.
